How First Link® Can Help

If you or someone close to you has just been diagnosed or is living with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia, you may feel overwhelmed and not know where to turn for help.

First Link® Makes it Easier

Connecting to the right supports early in the dementia journey can make a big difference in the quality of life for both the person diagnosed and the care partner.

With locations all across Ontario, the Alzheimer Society and its First Link® program will connect you to vital dementia education, resources and support helping to build your confidence for the journey ahead.

First Link® Helps To:

  • improve quality of life
  • reduce the stress of the condition
  • minimize or prevent crisis situations
  • enable people to live longer at home and in the community.

With First Link® Care Navigators available at all 29 Alzheimer Societies across Ontario, First Link® also helps you navigate, what can sometimes be, a confusing health care system.
